The Orenburg State Medical Academy facilitates the students to study in a healthy enviorment on Academy campus. Student’s are allowed to focus equally on studies and extra activities. From 1 to 3 February 2013 in Kuvandyk passed XVII traditional open tournament in women’s volleyball team, dedicated to the Hero of the Soviet Union VG Kozenkova, participated in the tournament 11 teams of the Orenburg region, including the Women’s National Team Volleyball OrGMA . At the first stage of the tournament revealed the strongest team in the group stage, the final games of the competition took place on February 3, according to the results of preliminary meetings. The team of OrGMA lost in a bitter struggle in the subgroup, where her opponents were teams: g.Yasny, g.Kuvandyk, Buzuluk OGTI (Orsk) and the village Ziyanchurino. In the second sub-group relations defined by the command: OGPU (Orenburg), Sol – Iletsk was Akbulak KeiB (Orenburg), and Novotroitsk.

From 3 to 8 December in the PR department of Orenburg State Medical Academy and in groups to prepare for university entrance held“Week of Russian language.”

Active participation of students have taken courses of all groups of the department. As part of the week was a competition for the “Best literate” and they were: Vasilyeva Vasilina, Yerokhina Xenia, Krygin Anastasia Bogdanova Ilzira, Ermukanova Madina, Maximova Daria. Boys excitedly decided linguistic crosswords, enthusiastically talked about the importance of phraseology. But with even greater interest, students took part in the preparation and implementation of intellectual marathon “Know! You do not know – Know! “Where, using illustrations and card-set, hand made, they talked about the art of poetry, painting and music. As a holiday decoration performed songs based on poems by Yesenin, Okudzhava by Erokhina Xenia accompaniment of guitar music and the gentle sounds of a flute.

5 October 2012. an evening of “Dedication to Students” With the dedication and the start of the new school year and congratulated the students of high school freshmen i.o.rektora Orenburg State Medical Academy, the Vice President for Research and Innovation, Professor, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Head of the Department of Hygiene and Epidemiology FPPS Orenburg State Medical Academy, Honored Worker of Higher Education of the Russian Federation Setko Nina Pavlovna. In conclusion, NP Setko traditionally responded to questions from freshmen. Freshmen congratulated the Deputy Minister of Health Krivolapov AN, as well as Deputy Head of the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare in the Orenburg region Kudrin VI, who wished the evening was the specialist of HRV I.G.Kaysarov and 6 year medical student at the Faculty of Maria Kalinina. Bright performance on the evening was the number of the youngest dancers, theater music and dance “The Nutcracker”, “Medunitsa.” This evening the first-year students congratulated the students’ best creative teams of the academy: a group of “Krikets”, 2nd year students of medical faculty and Romachkin Vladimir Kovalev, students 6 chicken Medical Faculty Elena and Yulia Gridina Duzmuhambetov Rinat. Also made by first-year students (Bakhtybayev Arthur, Tsys Ivan Mulyugina Catherine Tsybulskaya Eve Zhalilov Dauren, Nabatchikov Marina) who performed the vocal and dance for their classmates.

Besides creative rooms were presented creative business cards of all the faculties that were made by student freshmen .Evening traditionally ended taking the Oath freshmen who voiced Maria Kalinina. Anthem performed by freshmen together all the participants in the evening. Good luck to you, freshmen! Learn enthusiasm and good humor !

Student life

There are three hostels at the Orenburg State Medical University. Indian students pursuing MBBS in Russia lives in 3rd hostel which is in university campus.Hostels became the second home for young people who came from different places. All favorable conditions are created in the hostels. Sports club was opened in University in 2013. The main aim of its activity is organization and improvement of sports work with students, propaganda of healthy lifestyle and upgrading of sportsmanship. 12 sports leagues are functioning in the Club (aerobics, swimming, basketball, volleyball, indoor soccer, track-and-field athletics, table tennis, and lifting, skiing, chess). Indian students actively participate in sports activities.
